What kind of shape are you in? If you are even slightly tubby, there's no chance. You'll need to hit the streets with your running shoes and get down to your shagging-weight.

 

Slightly tubby deffo, but the knees are not good so a walk is about it for me, funny enough the knees are probably in bad shape from me doing a couple of half marathons whan I was 15/16, too young to be doing those distances but nobody really cared back in the day. Fastest was 1 hour 40something.

 

Of course you should...just have the wife on the side
