Not quite the start we had hoped for, especially against 10 men for most of the game.

Lets hope scoring ain't a problem again for us this season.

 

I truly believe we need a big target man up front someone who can upset defenders with his presence like Josh Magennis the Charlton striker. I believe Nicholls will get goals for us but looking at him he looks as if he should still be in school not exactly the type to frighten defenders

 

What do mean again? Remind me how many goals we've scored in the last 2 seasons?

 

Never a goal. But apparently we were not good enough anyway. 0-0 all over it but the officials got it wrong and costed us a point.

I dont want this to come across as im bashing Ellis but I really dont think he is good enough to be starting games. He could have been brilliant vs Charlton (I dont know) but we should have started Nichols. Ellis is a sub at best.

 

Scoring goals won't be a problem. This is just one game and we'll soon be banging them in again. Keeping things tighter at the back was the issue last season, so hopefully things will soon look ok again.
