Up until now´tis seldom I use More than ´tis or ´twas in my lines, When referring to events or people involved With Carrow Road or Norwich sígns But the fact remains there are several more Apostrophe t-words out there, ´twere worth delving diligently just to find More, for those with a literary flair And staying on topic, ´twill be worth the wait If NCFC can secure, A play-off place ´tween this January and May ´twould be a real bonus for sure But the improvements that we occasionally see ´twixt dour and sometimes dismal days, Will have to outnumber them from this time on If we want to reach those knockout plays. Thank you Donuts, you do have an amazing grasp of the English language, but I´m afraid you´ve got hold of the wrong recipient if that was aimed at me. I don´t fit either definition of the word.
Yes, ´twouldn´t be at all bad, if ´twas Reality, when May arrives, ´tisn´t as if ´tweren´t what most had hoped for And ´twould stop the ´Night of the Long Knives´
Strange, there I was thinking you´d appreciate anything that suggested we might get out of this division ( because I can promise you, this is as close as I´m going to get ) - but apparently not.
That´s extraordinarily good coming from you, Donuts, I don´t even begin to compare, .... oh, and before I forget, as there seems to have been so much confusion and disagreement over the meaning of the word twat, especially where you have been involved, you might like to visit the ´Delighted´ thread and look at #64, where all is explained.
