I was shocked yesterday at just how much ignorance of the events of that day is still out there. Despite the fact that the detail of the inquest and the facts of the day where all over the net and TV yesterday, there was still people posting from a stand point of complete ignorance of the truth. Incredible really, as I genuinely didn't think that the average football fan was still in the dark about it, but I was wrong in many cases. Shows that the campaign was still very relevant all these years later.
@Tobes cheers. Just want to join Donga in thanking the Blues and their support for their solidarity with us and their fantastic help and good wishes and support for the 96 and their families along the 27 hard years. please log in to view this image Special mention for Mr Bill Kenwright.
Burnham is the voice that I hope will be a driver for change, cover ups and use of the press to muddy the waters. I hope he can also push for the Hillsbrough bill to allow for prosecutions after police have retired.
Yeah saw you arguing with some thickos esp on gc. Couldnt log on though as was at work fair play mate
I'm hoping they knight Bill, especially if the rumours of his health are true (hope not), it should be done sooner than later. Should take Ingham's of The Wicked Witch's old flying monkey and give it to him instead.
They're largely a waste of oxygen mate, so I didn't waste much time on them, I just made my point and left them to it. A couple of the lads on the Sunderland board genuinely didn't know the truth, so I set them straight. Amazing really, but the legacy of the lies of that rag from a generation ago I suppose.
