    I was going to like this post but as you would be dead I thought I'd better not! If it was me I would have stopped at the first cafe for a refreshing cup of tea and a cake and never got any further. :)

    There's not a lot on the telly on the IOW. Satellite hasn't got there yet. Finding engineers with the correct numbers of fingers and opposable thumbs is proving a challenge. Just be nice to her, bless.

    I'll have you know that there is a perfectly good TV receiver/transmitter on the Island - Rowridge, not to mention the mast at Chillerton. We don't need a satellite, as we just stand on each others shoulders and the man at the top directs the Sky dish. Now if we can crack this need for electricity, and no-one worries about the extra digits (they come in very handy - excuse the pun) we'll be able to run headlong into the 20th Century (now everyone else is in the 21st century).

    High sixes all round?

    Typing is surprisingly easy with more than four fingers - who needs opposable thumbs, anyway? :grin::grin:

    OK Helen .... I take it that there is no response from our Claude. Now then, conspiracy theorists, what's happening? Claude is being held by Theresa May as a Brexit bargaining chip is my theory.
