Sounds like a mash up to me..but I can imagine bopping my head to it in the right place at the right time....reminds me of when I'd stroll into my fav club around 3am and you would hear this kinda stuff blaring out of the entrance and halfway up the dark cobbled street it was located in.
Okay one more before I get carried away ... something different. Dead Kennedys studio take of We've got a bigger problem now. This was recorded in the early Ronald Reagan days, and is probably even more relevant today with ****wit Trump in the hotseat.
Totally agree. So many people like to be cool by claiming that anything popular has to be ****, cause their tastes are so much more refined than the masses. It's an arrogance I can't bear.
I don't mind Collins genesis. Stuff like Turn it on again etc but the Gabriel era and the Gabriel solo stuff is great. I've heard him say how people tell him how much they like Trick of the Tail thinking he was involved, it sounds so much like the ealier albums.
Totally agree. Hipsters!! There are lots of popular music I find **** and a lot of popular music I like. But I know people who will love an album or artist, but literally the second that artist becomes big, they wont listen to them any more. Like half their fun was liking someone no one else had heard of, and once everyone knows the fun is ruined. Honestly, a mate of mine was a big Kings of Leon fan, loved their first two albums and was always raving about them. Their third album comes out, and Sex on Fire goes to No.1 and all of a sudden the entire media has a Kings of Leon ****fest, and my mate throws a strop and wont listen to them anymore......bellend.
It does. I've been singing it in my head since yesterday as it goes! It was the first album after Gabriel left and then Turn it On Again was on Duke, which was the album just before Abacab and after that they went downhill!! The I Can't Dance stuff and the like is crap in my opinion. Middle of the road housewife 'rock'.
