IN 2016/2017 season, teams liked coming to Anfield, last season, Hull city likes it, Crystal Palace enjoyed. Bournemouth also enjoyed it. This must be a deterrent in the future: In recent years Anfield has not been a fortress. It have to be, if we need to progress.
We should stick Rhc's legs on pikes outside the front entrance as a sign of what happens when you visit
For teams outside the top 4 it's their cup final and they celebrate any result like the highlight of the season
This is nothing new. It has been like this for as long as I remember. When you are a top club they see one point as a bonus but the difference with the past is that we would win even though they defended in depth. If we can't solve this problem we will struggle to win the title. That much is obvious.
Thing is, Anfield was a fortress in the first half of the season then 2017 was awful as we became stifled by teams who sat deep, and we lost Mane.
We also lost Coutinho and Sturridge, who we saw the last few games could also open up teams #doingamourinho
Yeah, I think that last point is easily underestimated. Obviously Studge cannot be relied upon now to play more than a handful of games, but when he does - and especially his movement. Look, Firminho and Origi run themselves into the ground, but combined they have one quarter of Studge's innate quality. We need to buy that sort of quality, regardless of cost, while we can; otherwise we HAVE to keep paying Studge £150 per week to sit on the bench and the treatment table, in the hope he may actually get to double figures in appearances.
