    Are you saying it is poor tactical nous from us that we keep on beating other teams?

    What do you say about the teams that we beat with the same players in the same formation - that they are very tactically sound in their losses <laugh>

    No, not at all. Just that it doesn't seem to work for us.

    Ranieri is superb in every way. His man management of player, how he deflects the pressure, how he handles the media, but most importantly he tactical nous
    he has a plan b,c,d,e and f. Pearson barely had a plan B
    We are blessed to have such a wonderful manager at the helm.

    Agree, we'd be doing well under Pearson, but not top.

    Pearson still deserves a share of this achievement, whether we win it or not.

    Maybe we should dedicate that awful 1-0 away defeat to Liverpool to him. <laugh>

    We don't change the personnel but we change tactics a lot.

    If we're playing against the big teams then the fullbacks sit in and then we play something like this;

    Simpson Huth Morgan Fuchs
    Albrighton Drinkwater Kante
    Okazaki
    Vardy
    *Mahrez just does what he wants.

    If we're playing against a side we should beat;

    Huth Morgan
    Simpson--------Drinkwater---------Fuchs
    Kante**
    Mahrez------Okazaki-------Albrighton
    Vardy
    **Kante is everywhere and it's his job to get the ball and pass it to Drinkwater who plays as a quarterback.

    When Ranieri talked about his Italian tactical ways, i thought that sounded quite boring....!

    Our tactics have changed alot over the season but more due to the opposition finally showing us respect

    At the start everyone was just taking us on head to head and losing 3-2. Now teams are sitting in trying to hit us on the counter as they scared to go toe to toe hence why we keep winning 1-0

    Ranieri has been superb with his tactics. Everyone single player though brings something everyweek. If they have a bad game there still working their bollocks off which is one of the main reasons why we dont lose often. Everyone gives everything every week

    See we had it (and I seem to remember teams doing it to you when I was at uni down there) where teams come to us and just park the bus. We just don't break them down, we rely on the fact that because we have have big name players in our team somehow they'll magically discard MK Dons or Forest or whoever because they aren't as good.

    It isn't that our lads don't want to win, it's that when we go behind (which to our credit happens very rarely, or at least it did do) we have no clue how to adapt to a game. Bruce just ploughs on regardless.

    To be fair, if you're only in a playoff position in the Championship, and Drinkwater, Kante, Mahrez and Vardy aren't good enough to get in your side, then what more can Bruce do?

    He's actually finishing the season really strongly, shame he'll be leaving on a free in Summer.

    He's has Villa written all over him IMO. Can't see a Prem team touching him.

    He's got the build for it. Although he'd have to switch sports.

    An English freebie who once proves himself? Can see someone taking a punt. Certainly seems a decent squad option.

    agreed. Very good option for a 5 man midfield line up. Might go to a promoted team like Middlesbrough? Or something ridiculous like man city to play in cups and boost heir home-grown quota!?
