There is a reason we were after a new CB.

TBH I was kinda shocked Wasyl got a new contract at the beginning of this season - he won't get a new one after this.

true, you should be relieved given your CL fixtures and your squad isn't deep yet.

Good luck in CL. Truly, Wish you do a Leicester <ok>.

2-0 ahead and cruising then conceding just before half time, the WORST time to concede. Then when they equalised and you had a man sent off it was curtains against a lucky team like Chelsea.

I've seen it so often when a team is drawing against them and with a couple of minutes to go a golden chance is missed i.e. King and they come back late to win it. Sadly this time it was you. I asked before the match can you beat Chelsea twice in two weeks, a HUGE ask.

It's so difficult to gauge you at the moment. I've been following football since Spurs won the double in 1961 beating you 2-0. Because of that Leicester have been a fairly prominent name for me and over those years you've been relatively anonymous, getting relegated a few times. Now you're league champions which was so unexpected and because of that you've become impossible to predict. Are we going to see the Leicester of old or the new? Who knows? I doubt even if you do.

I think Fuchs' position is safe and Andy King is just not up to it I'm afraid!!

...another learning curve .. the young team was doing excellently until the lapse in first half added time ... movement and pace causing a very strong Chelsea team lots of problems...

Fair result in the end ... no complaints ...but some of the younger players will certainly have benefited from the experience... :)

Some of the younger players? Gray and Chilwell then, weren't they the only younger players? Both did OK. Wasilewski has again let us down. Got away with a penalty in the first half and was then a car crash waiting to happen. In my opinion his legs are gone and we seriously need a better option come January. As others have mentioned don't mind we are out.

The rezzies got a good run out against Chelsea's first team and would have won had Kingy scored that sitter.

Can't complain when their World Cup winning central midfielder scores two beauties in extra time.

Good lesson for the younger ones.

Neither Schlupp or Musa are under 23 but Armartey is but take your point. I didn't include them as they have vastly more experience than Chilwell or Gray. Chilwell nothing but a couple of league cup games and Gray yet to play a full game.

It was a hard night for Chilwell, but don't think he had a particularly bad performance.

I do agree about King though, offers little to the team in a 2 man midfield, i've no problem with him playing higher up as he has the ability to ghost in and find a good position in the box, but think his performances have taken a hit since he was asked to take a more box-box midfielder role (think that was as far back as the Sven regime). Has always stood out better as an attacking midfielder for me.

... I'd say it ws a learning curve for Chilwell ... Moses is a very good player and by the end Ben was trying to get too tight allowing for a quicker opponent just to move the ball as it arrived and skip round him ... Fuchs who is slower than Chilwell would not have been so rash but would have waited and then taken the ball off Moses ...

Kingy should really be for the bench now ... love the guy and his journey ... but you can't really give him a starting place with that squad ...

I have checked and he has only completed 90 minutes 3 times for us - vs Sunderland on his debut, vs Spurs at home and vs Everton away last season.
