Surely it's time to mix it up now. Unchanged teams are all well and good but it has cost us in the last two games.

We have Barnsley Saturday who have lost 3 out of their opening 4. We would be going there looking to get the win. Time for Ruiter Matthews Oviedo Rodwell Gibson Gooch to stake a claim. Not convinced by Browning so I'd play Oshea and Djilobodji to see if either impress enough to be considered for Saturday. I'd give Vaughan the start up top (he needs a goal desperately) and rest Grabban for the league. Catts Kone Ndong Mcgeady get a well earned rest. Honeyman is young and fit enough and is in great form so I'd keep him in.

    ------------------------Ruiter---------------------
    Matthews-Oshea-Djilobodji-Oviedo
    ---------------Gibson-Rodwell---------------
    Khazri-----------Honeyman-----Gooch
    -----------------------Vaughan-----------------

I'd settle for that Parker, some if the kids on the bench Carlisle will be up for this after a good win yesterday.

I'd go for that as well - would probs give Honeyman a rest as well in all honesty, his usual energy was lacking yesterday and looked tired IMO.

That's along the lines I'd like to see and I hope SG has realized that he needs to use all his available squad.
I only hope injuries or lack of match readiness were the reasons for his decision - not a criticism more an observation.

Or maybe this season is more their level and were completely out of their depth last year?

I think he means give them an opportunity to freshen things up and bring more experience to the team - infact Gibson was arguably MOM when he last played - I don't regard them as utter s***e either - but that's my opinion

We need a squad this year not a starting 11 that get flogged twice a week.

Gibson was excellent against Bury. Rodwell could have a great season at this level and Matthews is as good as Jones and better than Galloway so getting him game time benefits the team

We've got a spine of hard workers now, we know our best team, everyone know what they're doing and what's expected, we should start using the squad now.

I agree, Gibson and one or two others to start, but not too many changes as that could be a bit risky. An easy passage through is required, fingers crossed.

Hoping for a sub appearance from Oviado and Watmore. Think it will be too soon McNair. Maja has had an op an is out for at least 5 weeks :(

I'd love to see Watmore make an appearance didn't realise he was due back. We've missed him.

Like to see Alonso back, but Watmore will do. <laugh>. seriously, that's great news, I want to see a settled team with a sprinkling of our Youth Team in the starting line up by Xmas. Honeyman, Gooch, Asoro and Maja are leading the way and one or two others will surely follow under Grayson. Its been an enjoyable season so far, much more than I thought it would be. <ok>

I rather win against Barnsley than Carlisle pal. The team looks ****ed so need more than 1 or two changes

If there was a chance of promotion this term I would agree, but a cup run would be great at this time giving our fringe players a chance to develop and at the same time enjoying a bit of success. This is more important than individual results at present for me, as long as we keep out of danger and see positive signs of improvement this season I will be happy. <ok>

We still can challenge for the top 6. I haven't seen nothing to change my mind on that. We defo need to sign some players tho. I love cup runs but I rather go for the league. We haven't got a biggest squad anyway.

I'm better than Galloway at the moment and I'm about 4 stone overweight. I would leave Galloway in at this level. He's young and needs a good game to restore his confidence. Having said that giving somebody else wouldnt be a bad thing.
