What do you guys think of this - BBC Bristol sport @bbcbristolsport 5m5 minutes ago BBC Bristol sport Retweeted Bury Football Club Bristol City defender Taylor Moore joins League One side Bury on loan for the rest of the season
Strange. Obviously not considered up to Championship standard then - after all the excitement when he arrived. Unless he upset someone ....?
no I think the situation which lee has gotten into has brought about the need to "put on hold the young guns" .. we have 3 in already it is likely to be at least 4 so getting 3 or 4 out on ,loan helps the wAGE BILL AND GIVES THEM GAME TIME .....
Not strange at all the lad's 19 and behind Flint Mags and now Wright in the pecking order. He's gone somewhere to get first team football and experience
Be good experience for the guy, he'll no doubt be playing in every game, surprised it's Bury he's gone to.
For me, the trouble is that LJ has bought players like Taylor Moore and Engvall for the future, when he should have also (or instead) been buying for right now.
I think they did but it back fired when an offer to good to refuse came in... AShton sort of intimates that in his NV
I agree, the sentiment of buying for tomorrow is nice but in modern football no longer works. All you are doing is buying players for the next man in charge who will most likely not want them. Buy your first 11, the men you believe week in week out can get the job. Then add your squad players and try to incorporate some promising youth you can give some game time to. I disagree with "you don't learn anything on the bench". You learn more about the system you are expected to play in (not that LJ even knows his own system yet, which is worrying), by watching it, training in it every day, with the players you are expected to carry out that system with. How many youth players over the years have gone on to be consistent regular performers every week for Bristol City that have gone out on loan to lower league teams? A few? At best? I wasn't a huge fan of him but Cole Skuse never went out on loan, he probably owes his career to being given a chance at the club he belonged to!
Yes you do learn something in training (and sitting in the dressing room) but there is no substitute for playing
Do he play yesterday,if so bet he had a good game, the kid looks class on the short spells I have seen him play.
By car I suspect How would I know? I just used this fantastic new invention called the internet (think it might be hit soon) to find out if he played.
Managed to get some views regards Taylor Moore Seems like they were pleased with him. Taylor-Moore struggled first half but was much better after the break with more midfield cover. Whilst decent at right back, he looks as if he could be a *very* good centre half. As an aside, my MOM was Reece Brown today, especially second half. Looks to have come back better than when he left us. scales of justice 910[/paste:font] please log in to view this image Members 10,877 posts Posted 16 hours ago 17 hours ago, Jon said: Right back. A couple of good last ditch tackles and a very iffy sliced clearance but he didn't have to do too much down his side. Can tell he has good control and a footballing brain though. Agreed, he looked a decent player, and promising debut As you and I discussed at HT, I was amazed that Craig Burgess didn't start, although the majority of our problems in the 1st half emanated from midfield We looked much better with Etuhu in the 2nd half shakerste 1,484[/paste:font] please log in to view this image Members 3,554 posts
