.... Has just signed for us on a season-long loan. How do you rate him guys? Obviously he wasn't a regular first team player for you but I see he did get a couple of games.
I used to follow the youth sides a lot but just before he came on the scene so haven't seen much of him tbh. His goal record last season was ridiculous though, he was almost averaging a goal a game and was scoring in the important ones too. 74 in 98 youth games apparently, pretty good going. If he stays fit and plays the majority of games this season i reckon he'll get 10-15 goals. Do you lot play two up front though? That Kodjia (sp) is one of the best player outside the Premiership so unless they play together i can't see Abraham starting!
That sounds promising! Yes, last season we played 2 up front mostly so I would expect him to partner Kodjia with Tomlin in the 'hole' but we will have to wait and see. Interesting your comment about Kodjia - and a bit worrying that a supporter of a top-end Premiership side knows who he is - we want to hang on to him and don't want you guys tempting him away - we want to come up and join you - it's 40 years to the season since we last reached the promised land!
Looks interesting. Stoke are looking forward to his loan spell with Bristol ending when they can sign him from us permanently
Time will tell. It's good to score on one's debut and our fans seem impressed with him (not just because of the goal). Unfortunately we are well aware that we are only a trial club for him - but he should experience pressure (and hopefully reward) at a higher level than just a youth setup. IF we get promoted then the situation may change - but we have the small matter of 40+ games against like-minded teams to overcome in the meantime! Stoke can take a jump by the way
...steady on 'looking forward' to that, bloody Stoke took Alan Hudson from us during the mid 70s and almost won the old first division with him in their midfield.
Tammy could very well dump you out of the cup if Cardiff beat the Gas in their little encounter!!!!!!
