    It doesn't define what they mean by team - is it the starting XI, the 18 in the match-day squad, players who play in the matches (Chelsea is the only club to use all 3 subs in every league game). That simple piece of information would give this some more context.

    I'd imagine it refers to the 25-man squads - to produce such a graph with any other parameters would be a tad onerous.
