Regarding the arab takeover, latest ive heard is that he wanted majority 51% share of lufc, but bates wanted to keep control and only offered 30%. So he moved on to forest

They have also gone through seven head coaches in 13 seasons. In October 2009, several articles in Washington area newspapers criticized Snyder, alleging that his managerial style was partly to blame for the Redskins' on-field struggles.

Snyder is also famous (or infamous) for somewhat questionable free-agent signings, despite their past success

He really seems to be an american version of Ken

 

But to be fair...

He will want us in the Premiership ASAP and will be willing to invest in the team to get there.

The buy now pay later model seems to work in the Premiership.

Sounds like he would take out hefty loans, meaning it would be "go up or go Pompey"
Surely Bates is better, hes not making huge losses because hes not spending anything.

The one thing that Ridsdale taught us is that we should question question question.

I would be surprised if the LUST has sounded out specific possible investors and invited them to consider talks, and then these have happened, with individuals or groups who would be no different to Bates. LUST stated they gave presentations to organisations who share the same vision as LUST.

I don't think they will have been discussing things with people who a simple wiki search shows are no different to bates .

But if LUST's actions lead to someone like that, they will lose membership overnight

 

you need to remember though that wikipedia does not sum up someone's personality and while he looks like a **** in truth he could be fantastic. You cant rule anyone out

 

Except we're only making a profit through player sales, and attendances are dropping all the time. For what it's worth I don't think it is this Snyder guy anyway. Probably a rumour started by someone who doesn't quite know how far away DC is from Chicago.

 

Let us also remember that there are two interested parties.

 

At least We've probably alerted a lot more potential buyers/investors by putting ourselves in the window like this.
