    Great to have the Sweeney back, was quality last season. Dont know to much about Telford Though, although he has some Championship experience with Blackpool.

    If he shows the form of last season then we could be in for a very good season, I rate Broadbent much higher that Hartley, he looks calm and collected under pressure and if Leadbitter and J Clarke don't play that well we have in Partington a quality player to replace them with. Both GKs look solid and I'm glad that the decision on who to play isn't mine to make

    Evidently Stoke messed up sending their registrations to FA in time. So both loanees couldn't take part today

    Also, it would be harsh to chuck him straight in when he hadnt even completed a full day training with us. I wouldnt have selected him to be honest if he was available.
