Dai - I don't need to undermine you, you make a great job of undermining (what's left of) your credibility every day.

As for opinions, you are the guy who regularly says he doesn't care about other peoples' opinions - you are truly comical.

"I eat your type for breakfast" - priceless <laugh>

Rather than getting the better of the argument, this post demonstrates that you've missed the point.

Indeed, if you bother to read, absorb & consider other peoples' posts on this Board, you would "know" that posters such as Valley, Stumpy, TLF, Phil, Stereo, Seabreeze, Nosugarman etc all agree that the squad needs strengthening, be it a RB, CB, Striker....

The point at issue is that results of pre-season friendlies are meaningless - they are designed to get the players ready for the start of the season

"It always a wum when I get the better of the argument ".

Hmm, therein lies the problem, or at least part of it.
If you were to see this Forum as a vehicle for exchanging of views and giving opinions, and not for simply "getting the better of an argument", you may get more out of it.
Everyone's opinion is valid, however much it may differ from the majority's.
