I was please with him about the Burnley game, but not really either with Fenerbahce or today ( I can't see anything outstanding today apart from Carrick's selection).

    3-0 at half time.

There is a reason I'm not a football manager...

Rooney has been so dynamic today. Perhaps the goal from last week is a sign that his hard work is starting to pay off. Even his first touch has been class today.

Strange game today. It's no exaggeration to say we could easily have been six nil up at half time yet it looked like we were happy to piss about for most of the game.

So much so that in the second half we drifted into a coma and Swansea scored somehow, which never looked on the cards. I don't know what the (admittedly irrelevant usually) possession stats were but it seemed like we had about 98% in the first half.

Second half we rarely looked to pass forward, always taking the easy backwards pass. And they were instructed to do so, no doubt.
Weird game really, I've no idea why we couldn't go for the throat as Liverpool and Chelsea both did over the weekend.

I hate to be overly negative but any other premier league team would have done something to stop us pissing about but this Swansea performance is as bad as I've ever seen.
They are ****e and are going down. The 'manager' is way out of his depth. On the face of it it no longer seems very smart to have not offered it Giggs, who couldn't do any worse if he followed the van Gaal example and just sat on the bench looking at his ipad.

Plus points; Rooney and Ibra were excellent and Pogba played well. And we won.

    Negatives; Darmian is ****e.

Just seen the highlights. Our defence looks so poor. As soon as its tested they look like rabbits in headlights. I really really wish we had a leader at the back.

His post match interview suggests he's already splitting the squad. Classic Jose.

But then do we want him protecting them?

I've got some sympathy for Shaw, he's coming back from a bad injury. Smalling though, he had the week off due to suspension so should have got the **** on with it.

With any luck Phil Jones will finally stay injury free and Smalling can be put in a box and filed under not up to it.
