Swansea City v. West Ham United Barclays Premier League Date - 26 December 2016 Kick off - 15:00 Venue - The Liberty Stadium Following another disappointing away performance that saw them lose 0-3 to Middlesbrough, Bob Bradley's squad face a resurgent West Ham at The Liberty Stadium on Boxing Day. The Hammers have picked up 7pts from the last 3 matches to move out of, and away from, the relegation zone, and they will be fancying their chances of extending that improvement. If the Swans are themselves going to pull free from the relegation zone, then this fixture must be viewed as one where the 3 pts on offer must be taken, as well as those from the next home game against Bournemouth on New Year's Eve. Swansea and West Ham have met on 59 occasions, with the Swans winning 18, West Ham 26, with 15 draws. In the corresponding fixture played on 20 December last, the match finished 0-0 with the managerless Swans having dominated the first half as Ki Sung-yueng and Andre Ayew missed good chances. Jack Cork had a spectacular volley saved by Adrian after the break, while Swansea appealed in vain for a penalty for a James Collins handball. This is a match that the Swans really have to win, but with West Ham having turned a corner, the best I can see the Swans doing is getting a 1-1 draw, but more likely losing 0-2. What's the betting that Andy Carroll and former Swan Andre Ayew are on the goal sheet?
Looks like a painful screen grab Somehow we need to score first in this one. If we do I think we'll win by 2. The boys need to find some confidence again. There have been moments in the last 3 games where we've looked like our old selves but once we concede the confidence drains.
So why not offer the managers job to Nigel Pearson he is out of work and knows how to avoid relegation?
If 'Bob the builder' can engage what little grey matter he possesses, and drops Amat and Taylor, we might well get a result, but he seems incapable of learning from his previous mistakes, which leads me to believe he is as insane as Dai!.............
With the home crowd behind the team, I think we might nick this one. But I wouldn't be surprised if we lose 0-3 either.
That's nothing Vetch - if you believe a whinging Bruce http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/rugby/rugby-news/inside-story-day-furious-australia-12109067 I know coz I was there ....
I can't access any articles on either walesonline, or evening post unless I fill in bloody questionnaires, and I refuse to do that, so they don't get my clicks anymore. Everywhere I go is either adverts to work around or questionnaires.
How many permutations of centre half parings has he tried , although I hear through the grape vine that Jason Smith has been asked if he can last 45 minutes then swop him for my name sake for the other 45, at least we'd see some commitment if not a bit of steel.
The defence will be rubbish as usual and that will make it very difficult to win.....0 - 3 WHU....We dont have good enough players to cope in the premiership ATM The only way we will get anything is if WH dont turn up....
It's essential for the Swans to take the lead and keep the crowd onside. Anything else doesn't bear thinking about.
It's building slowly , we lose then the **** will hit the fan , jenkins and co better stay away if they have any sense .
