Does anyone else think Siggys link up play, or lack of it, let's us down in the final 3rd?
Always seems to slow to get over to the side of the pitch that we're attacking from to make a triangle or play a through ball. Barrow and Naughton's side was crying out for it today. Don't know if it was just Watford marking him well or if he isn't fully up to pace yet.

He can finish and he's the man I'd put money on burying a chance but he doesn't seem the same player yet.

Well there was a great deal of discussion in the Stadium hospitality rooms about Jenkins et al and what happened re the Trust. Rumours are that there is more to come out......

Didn't see Morgan nor Lineen today - he normally pops into the Lounge where I go - perhaps that explains some of the empty seats. Thinking about it, I didn't see Gordon - Huw's Dad - either.

Well we cant complain about that performance, Shame we never won but we are not far away to getting things right, The improvement has been remarkable and credit has to go to Bob for the way he is turning things around after just his second game.....Im full of confidence that we wont be where we are today and much higher up the table in a few weeks time.....I thoroughly enjoyed our best game to date......<applause>

To be honest Valley, I'm not as enthused as others about the improved performance today.

First half was average at best, second half we were better but it was Watford we were playing, not Citeh, not Chelsea. In fact I thought that Hull played/looked better than Watford.

Still early days under Bob - but the alarm bells are ringing

I wasn't as impressed as some after the Arsenal game. For 70mins we were utter rubbish that game too.

Evening all, I am surprised that some think that was not a bad performance today. As I live away my football comes via the internet and TV, and I know that watching on such sources can be misleading, but having seen your last game I was quite fearful of what you might do to us. Both sides were woeful when it came to passing the ball to one of their own players, and the gaps between midfield and defence would have given any team with more quality players a field day. Both teams have new managers and there has only been short periods between the internationals for them to work with the players, but no matter what they plan when players cannot pass the ball over 5 yards, there is a problem. Two teams today who will not get to the frighten the larger clubs, but there are others who at this stage who are worse.
Just my view, but it has been good to read how friendly your fans were to ours, and how a trip to your home is a good experience. <ok>

You are quite correct that I was not in the pub with you. I was sat on my settee with a nice glass or two of red wine as I made clear. I am afraid that you must have been in a different pub to my contacts who said that they had a very good time, mixing with your fans. I guess that whatever team you follow there will be less desirable elements who tag along. We do have reports of fans who have clearly spent too much time in pubs and get themselves ejected from games, but mostly we don't see much trouble from the 2-3,000 who travel away, and usually good reports of their behaviour. Maybe you should change your pub?
