Following yet another disappointing result, this time against next to bottom Middlesbrough, the Swans meet high flying Spurs, on Wednesday evening, who lie in second spot in the PL, 7 points adrift of Chelsea.

The Swans sit just 1 point above the relegation places & could find themselves in the bottom 3 come full time on Wednesday with Hull hosting Middlesbrough the same evening.

The Swans have played Spurs on 42 occasions, winning 8, drawing 8 & losing 26. Since entering the PL, the Swans have never beaten Spurs - losing 9 & drawing twice.

In the corresponding fixture last season, the teams drew 2-2. Andre Ayew's header gave the Swans the lead before Eriksen levelled with a swerving effort from 25 yards.

Tottenham's Harry Kane sliced Jonjo Shelvey's corner into his own net to restore Swansea's advantage.

But Eriksen found the top corner from range to secure a point for Spurs.

Whilst my heart says the Swans will draw 1-1, my head says that Spurs will run out 1-3 victors.

I would love to get something from this game but I cant see it myself....Not with Clem choosing the side and tactics.....If he cant work out how to Beat bottom sides then I have no confidence in his ability to beat a club that has been exceptional this season...I live on hope than confidence..

 

I have tickets for this game, and am not relishing the wasted evening from theses nuggets we will field.............

The last three games have been a shock to the system and sad to see. Injuries & poor tactics have seen us slip right back into the relegation scrap.
One point from our relegation rivals in the last three games, all 6 pointers, it has been murder to watch the negative tactics of playing for a point each time.
Has Clement been found out after a great start to his managerial reign, certainly looks like it. We were crying out for a change in tactics and fresh legs against Boro as the ball was endlessly lobbed into the penalty area for the inept Ayew to jump two inches off the ground in an attempt to head the ball, with the Boro defence easily clearing every time.
We have to pray that Llorente is fit for Wednesday but it's not looking good. If we have to stick with these high ball tactics surely we need a target man to play up front. If McBurnie/Baston are deemed not good enough, perhaps we should delve into the transfer market for a free agent player.

 

A 3 - 0 prediction from 55282 is very concerning . I can see us in a relegation spot after this game . Barring our win recent win against Liverpool , this would be a scalp among scalps , COME ON SWANS
