    Premier League
    Date - Saturday 24 September 2016
    Kick off - 15.00
    Venue - Liberty Stadium

Following Wednesday's Football League Cup meeting between the two teams, the Swans & Man. City play each other again just 3 days later in the PL.

The results and performances of the two teams could hardly be more different: the side from the "Blue half" of Manchester have won all 5 PL games played thus far, whilst the Swans have struggled and secured just 4 pts out of a possible 15 pts.

The Swans will be looking to put last Sunday's abject performance against Southampton at St. Mary's behind them, and the fans will be hoping that Francesco Guidolin selects a more attacking formation, with 2 wingers and record signing Borja Baston leading the attack.

In many respects, Pep Guardiola's Team have looked unbeatable so far in the PL, and were comfortable winners of the Manchester derby, as well as easily accounting for Bournemouth 4-0 last time out. Additionally, in Kevin de Bruyne they have the stand-out player in the PL at present. Indeed, Guardiola has said recently that of all the players that have played under his management, only Lionel Messi ranks better. High praise indeed!

Swansea and Manchester City have met on 30 occasions (before Wednesday's FL Cup clash), with the Swans winning 7, drawing 4 and losing 19.

In the corresponding fixture last season, the two teams played out a 1-1 draw in Manuel Pelligrini's final game in charge. Kelechi Iheanacho opened the scoring for Man City in the 5th minute, but Andre Ayew's deflected free-kick secured a hard earned draw for the Swans. The point, however, secured Champions League football for this season for Man City.

Looking ahead to Saturday, it is difficult to expect anything other than a comfortable away victory. However, the Swans do have a habit of lifting themselves for the "bigger" teams - and at the moment there are none bigger in the PL. Nevertheless, I'm expecting Guardiola's men to run out 0-3 victors.

Just arrived in your fair city, left bright blue skies in Manchester to be greeted with a miserable cloudy day
Hopefully next few days will be nice, staying until Sunday with the Mrs

No idea what strength of team we will put out tonight but expect a few rested for Saturday

    Caballero
    Sagna Kompany Adarabioyo Clichy
    Fernando Gundogan Delph
    Navas Iheanacho Sane

This will be the last of agueros suspension so should play Saturday which I would think will be something like

    Bravo
    Zabaleta Otamendi Stones Kolorov
    Fernandinho
    Sterling DeBruyne Silva Nolito
    Aguero

So nothing to be worried about

Taylor, roof you cant be serious in his last 2 games he has been the worst player on the pitch by a mile, I wouldn't have him on the bench, the rest is ok but would change Routs for Montero if fit.

I just think we need all the expierence we can muster for this one , anyways this is the team I prefer....back in the saddle for Taylor and hopefully he will come around ...law of average and all that. 11 points after the Man U game and I'm happy and regardless of who is in charge ...we will charge up the table from then till the New Year beginsIMO

Mate he was embarrassing against their 2nd side last night, I would fear for him on Saturday if picked. I think Guidolin will go back to Kingsley.

From what I've seen of Guidolin communicating with Taylor from the touchline I don't think he's a fan.

Taylor played pretty well at Euro IMO , then was pretty well benched at the start of the season with media reports saying before the season started that this would happen .A lot of pressure and stress heaped on Taylor after the highs of Euro .450 minutes of Premier League football we've played so far and Taylor played 41 minutes of it and hauled off before the first half was over .Taylor needs a few straight games to get his heart back into being confident , as he was at Euro.
And with the teams we prepare to face , this is a good time to give him those games IMO

Roof when it comes to Taylor they only see the mistakes and ignore the good play but conveniently ignore Leon or anyone else's mistakes <doh> Taylor is a regular international with like you say has experience in big games....He should be playing......

    I think we should start with this line up;

    Fabianski
Rangel, Van der Hoorn, Amat, Kingsley
    Britton, Fer
    Routlage, Siggy, Montero
    Baston

I know that these is a strong case for Barrow to start but I think that Barrow will most effective coming off the bench for this one. Llorente should be our plan B striker if we're chasing the game because he doesn't offer much when we sit deep. Baston has the pace to come from deep quickly and something that may have affected our game of recent.
