    upload_2017-5-1_15-15-35.png Swansea City v Everton upload_2017-5-1_15-15-35.png

    Barclays Premier League
    Date - Saturday 6th May 2017
    Kick off - 17:30
    Venue - Liberty Stadium

After Sunday's encouraging performance and 1-1 draw against Manchester United when they were yet again the victim of a dubious decision by Neil Swarbrick (first Man City, then Chelsea & now United), the Swans next face Everton.

With only 3 matches left, this really is a must-win game. Even winning each remaining fixture may not be enough, so there is no margin for error. The Swans must beat The Toffees.

The visit of Everton marks the first return of former Captain & Swans legend, Ashley Williams. Let's hope that he leaves empty-handed just as Joe Allen did following Stoke's visit to the Liberty Stadium.

Swansea and Everton have played each other on 26 occasions previously, with Swansea winning just 2, Everton 15 and 9 draws. In fact, the Swans have Never beaten Everton in a League match at home......

The only time that the Swans have beaten Everton at home was in the League Cup in September 2014. The Swans took the lead in the first half when Nathan Dyer poked in after excellent work by Jefferson Montero down the left.

Gylfi Sigurdsson tapped in the second after Jonjo Shelvey's delivery was inadvertently headed on to the bar by Everton's Sylvain Distin.

Finally, substitute Marvin Emnes drilled in an brilliant third late in the game.

Given what is at stake, and with a full Liberty Stadium cheering them on, I'm expecting that the Swans will win 2-1. I'm also hoping that Sunderland will be desperate not to finish bottom and will shock Hull at the KC Stadium. <cheers>

We must win and I think we will. 2-0 with Carroll and Llorente.

2-0, Llorente to score just after half-time and a late goal from Carroll to seal it.

Jermaine Defoe to net a double hat-trick in a humiliating 10-nil win over Hull!!!!

(just realised I've copied Valley with the scoreline and scorers there, great minds eh?!! haha)

We're not scoring many so three 1-0 will do me and I don't care if theyr're all in the 92nd minute.,

Win today and I think we will be safe, lose and it will be all over simple as that. Come 7pm and we will be put out of our misery one way or an other. So God of football please smile on us tonight even though we dont really deserve any special favours.

This ^^ Defensively we've been doing reasonably well. I see us winning this, and let's hope Hull slip up but I can't see it.
