Like ‘em or loath ‘em, Man U remain one of the biggest draws in World football and their appearance at a packed out Liberty Stadium will be shown live on Sky Sports next Saturday.

A once smiley Jose Mourinho has these days been replaced by a morose figure and this seemed to rub off on his players last season, resulting in too many draws for the liking of the Old Trafford faithful. The Red Devils still managed to dismantle a poor Swans outfit at the Liberty during the Bob Bradley reign, but the Swans improved under Paul Clement and gained a creditable draw in front of 75,000 fans at the Theatre of Dreams.

One of the big transfer stories this summer has been the £90 million transfer of Romelu Lakaku from Merseyside to Man U. That’s a lot of money for someone who misses more than he scores, but he got off to a creditable Premier League debut scoring a brace in a 4-0 thumping of a strong West Ham outfit. He was joined on the scoresheet by Paul Pogba who will be looking for a much improved season after last years disappointment.

The Swans started their PL season with a creditable away point at Southampton, but that was more to do with Southamptons poor finishing than an impressive rear guard action. Without Frederico Llorente, Siggurdson and Ki, our bench looks extremely weak and even if we put up a good show for the first hour next week, Man U look to have enough fire power on the bench to turn the screw in the final period.

Dreading this game after watching them hammer West Ham today. I just hope Llorente is fit, Mesa plays and turns out to be amazing.......

West ham were very poor, Clement will have our midfield sitting very deep to frustrate Manure, with a a view to counter attack, just hope Llorente plays a part, though I doubt it.........

 

Hope and expectation! Hope we get something expect to lose. Hope we don't get hammered like the Hammers(pardon the pun)

 

Am I glad I am not going to this, could be very embarrassing having watched Man U this weekend. Cant see anything other than a heavy defeat, but you never know we nearly always give the tops side a game and struggle against sides we should be beating. I hope this is one of these weekends and at least give them a game.

 

I'm happy Man U blasted West Ham , they'll be a bit cocky comin to town and I think Clement will be ready for them . Also , be a nice time ( if he's still with us ), to take Montero back out of the crate and turn him lose down the wing ... we need to stretch there midfield with some speedy wing play .

 

Montero will be 'well creased' after being in that 'crate' for so long...

Take about 10 games to 'straighten' him out, but before that his hamstring or arm will give in anyway...

Im so pi$$ed off,as most,with what we have and what we have not done in the transfer market up to date I think thats what will happen.

Mind you..........im home Wednesday after 3 fantastic weeks in Croatia so things might change then
