    F.A CUP. 4TH ROUND.

    Sutton Utd v Leeds Utd

    Sunday 29th [email protected]

    Streaming links to follow

    Good Morning Everyone,

Leeds travel down to Gander Green Lane in Sarf London on Sunday to take on Sutton Utd in the 4th Round of the FA Cup.

Potentially, this has the word banana skin written all over it as Garry Monks men will have to adapt to Sutton Utd's 3G pitch.

It will be interesting to see who Monk picks?

Personally I would rest Hernandez, Bridcutt and Wood definitely.

I would play Antonssen alongside Doukara up front.

Mowatt, O'Kane, Phillips and Dallas in midfield.

The defence is a tricky one. I'd be happy with Coyle and Berardi at lb/ rb but who would you play at centre backs?

Does anyone think we should throw the game so we can concentrate solely on the league, or will a up adventure be good for the club?

There are reports that Jansson has signed a 4 year deal.

I could have sworn that he needs to play one more game.

    Perhaps I can't count!

Morning all.. I want us to progress in the cup, saying that we do need to rest players and if a team consisting of the likes of Mowatt, Antonsson, Denton, Phillips, Coyle, Grimes, Silvestre and Doukara can't beat this lot they shouldn't be at the club, certainly not playing PL football next season.

I expect all those 8 to start....

Anyone else getting frustrated with the new guy Rad and Cellino yet?

Sure the right transfer targets might be tricky to get over the line but how hard is it to put a contract in front of Monk and Jansson and say here you go, sign here.

Morning all. Think we'll win on Sunday. But how quickly & who will ensure we get the game won asap. I hope we can rest Wood, Jansson & Bartley, as well as Hernandez & Bridcutt. It'll be a bit frenetic for the first half an hour, as it is the closest Sutton have had to a cup final in years.

On incomers, I hope we get another forward if we can get a good deal. I also want another play maker and Jansson's twin brother (if he's got one) to help the back 4. All in all, a good time to be a Leeds fan. In Monk I trust. MOT

Morning Ristac and all. Ive already made my feelings known on this issue and at risk of repeating myself, not excited by presence of new half owner yet. Anyway, hes already said hes putting nothing into a January transfer kitty. I expect some fans only read what they want. Still a few days to go to show what hes made of though so not panicking yet

I suspect they may be waiting to see if Monk can get over the final hurdles.

I also suspect that talks may have happened between the clubs and the deal was probably a 4 yr contract after Jansson played his 22nd game, which I believe was the Forest game.

I found this link, according to the article Jansson says he's already signed a 4 yr deal.

    http://www.teamtalk.com/news/delighted-jansson-confirms-permanent-leeds-switch.

Then there's this Football insider article,

says Jansson has signed a 4 yr deal but it doesn't come into effect untill July 1st this year......:emoticon-0148-yes:

Dont worry LL, if or when the club hands over the 3.5m to make the signing permanent, itll be splashed all over the official site by the pr department and we wont have to rely on rumours from blogs
