You are irrelevant to the Allams as well. Do you honestly think they give a **** about what you, or anybody, else thinks? Respect for anyone who gives up their time to sit through these meetings which will only be a box ticking exercise and anything which doesn't fit in with the Allam's agenda will be ignored.
No, you are wrong. Personally I think different groups of fans have different priorities. I don't think any of the established, and certainly not the more vocal groups realise that, or if they do, they don't care because, hey, they can shout louder. Seems to me you think the loudest ones are the ones that should determine what is important for the quieter fans. Including telling them how to be fans. For the record, I disagree with you on that too.
No. Why would I? Takes a special sort of person to think anyone should give a **** what they think. I'm not that special. I also don't care what other people think too. Handy that when you think about it.
The club determines what is important to quieter fans. You couldn't be more spineless could you, as you go about making up my opinions to deflect from your feebleness. And you call Castro irrelevant. Christ on a bike.
You're not seeing the irony in that you started by making up my opinions? Of course you can't. You expect to tell other fans how they should think. I imagine the thought of someone standing up to your bullying is quite novel. You're such a super fan aintcha?
To my knowledge, Al's never attended a FWG meeting, nor is he involved in the Trust, so if he was invited, at least he'd be one of the new members you seem so keen on. Geoff will attend on behalf of the Trust. Where your approach to this falls completely on its arse, is that the odd random person who nobody knows who attends these meetings will give their opinion but is answerable to no-one, may not tell anyone what they said on the fans behalf, may even have been deliberately picked because of their opinion of the owners. I don't really care who goes, as long as they really do represent the fans as a whole, but excluding people who City fans respect and who would detail exactly what was said is a mistake in my opinion. There should be someone like Rick Skelton or Amber Nectar there to report on exactly what happens.
Geoff is spot on. There will be people accountable to others. There will also be some others. It's a good mix, especially if it turns out bad. No one represents all the fans, that's my point. Not the Trust, not the OSC. No one does, even if they think they do. I disagree AN should be there. I agree Rick would be great too, especially for reporting on it.
We will publish who is attending in due course. At our last meeting we discussed the committee and who will represent the OSC.
Cheers. So far, i only know one person who's going, it would be handy if we knew who was representing us fans.
It's a fair point OLM is making. Most fans have to be represented (if not all) and when represented, they need to know what was said. Skepticism tells me that some fans may be picked because of who they are and what they represent in the Allams' favour. They're not holding these meetings because they want to but because they HAVE to.
The club The club has had no input in who the OSC will be sending. We will send a supporter who is passionate about the club, passionate enough to give up their freetime to sit on the committee. My hope is that their input will lead to a positive dialouge with the club on many issues.
One point that does need to be made... There are not enough supporters willing to give up their own time to work on groups. I am sure this is the same for most supporters organisations.
