Supers should have bought Gayle and general hindsight thread

A. Glad we didn't shell out £50m for McCormack he's ****.

B. Buying Naismith was a waste of money .

C. Should of signed another centre back for when Klose gets injured.

D Should of signed a striker as good as Gayle for when Jerome gets injured.

E. I knew we would blow another 2 nil lead away from home .

F. I knew (insert ex player here ) would score against us .

C. I'm arguing that should have bought another CB to partner Klose should have been more important than covering him when injured.

These two are related. Had we not offered bozo extensions to Turner and Whittaker, we'd have had the funds to offer the Murphy's better, longer term deals.

We took him in a swap deal for Steve Morison going the other way. It looked like a good deal for us at the time but he never reached the standard with us that he did for Leeds!

 

I don't even remember him playing really, did he ever start a game?

 

The only thing I remember is him chesting the ball down to Jonny Howson to score the winner at Man City in our 3-2 win there when they were "on the beach!"

 

I remember something similar but in the West Brom game,

 

They were consecutive games so could well be my memory playing tricks on me! I'm sure it only happened once!
