Full Time 2-3, Showed we can score goals and have difficulty keeping them out, nothing new there then. Seven changes made in the second half which disrupted the team, time some of them were given a full game and games are running out.
Look good till we changed it up. Boro got beat at Rochdale 2-0 So friendly mine **** all. Sure villa got beat the other day to.
No chance of going up with that defence, they are back to last seasons capers, switching off. Did O Shea come on ? him and Cattermole where in the 10 game winless start last season remember. The test will be against Celtic. How did Vaughn do by the way.
Browning looks competent but Papy is still absolutely pap. Really starting to feel optimistic about Maja, he should definitely be at least on the bench for the Derby game.
Going 3-0 away from home is encouraging. It wasn't until the substitutions started that is became disjointed and we conceded a needless penalty. It is a little strange that 3 of the 'want away' high earners are being risked ...... perhaps Grayson knows more than he's letting on.
I'd rather that we win by outscoring the opposition rather than by having the tightest defence in the league and trying to sneak a goal. Had enough of that with Moyes, didn't help that it didn't work whatsoever. Looks like we're going to be seeing plenty of goals, we might even enjoy watching the matches if that isn't too fanciful.
Wasn't there a Leeds fan on a while back saying Grayson's teams often concede a lot and score a lot? Sounds alright to me!
I could live with that, last season was so soul crushingly depressing that I'm more than ready to see some exciting football. Depends what the squad looks like but the one that started yesterday is full of attacking talent.
It is a little strange that 3 of the 'want away' high earners are being risked ...... perhaps Grayson knows more than he's letting on. In the shop window. But I hope not I would like us to keep them But
That's a strange one Vince isn't it. I think a few of us on here have noticed that and all hoping they're going nowhere. Maybe it was a precondition of him signing that he insisted he stays who stays who goes, except for Pickford which he probably had to concede in his talks. My hopeful take on things anyway.
He did. It was after a bad display I think. But there's more than one way to skin a cat. Fergie used to back his lads to the hilt in public and then shread them behind closed doors. I take with a pinch of salt what's said to the press. I've heard this guys a good man manager and that players want to play for him. I'm gonna cling onto that for a while longer and hope he can convince them to stay and play for him.
Some of these players just need an arm around the shoulder and a quiet word in their ears which I doubt they ever got from Moyes, especially Kharzi.
I disagree mate. He wouldn't want to let Khazri go without good reason. The squad is threadbare. Khazri could rip the Championship apart if he's motivated enough. Let's wait and see how Grayson is gonna handle him. He may well go. But it should only be if Grayson says so.
Sorry for the confusion mate, but the disaster I refer to was Moyes, not Khazri who I rate highly, although unpredictable at times he is my type of player, and I suspect Graysons too.
