Sunderland ponder swap bid for AC Milan striker M'Baye Niang by Paul Vegas3 hours ago< 500 READS SHARE THE LOVE image: AC Milan striker M'Baye Niang is being linked with Sunderland. Corriere dello Sport says Sunderland could swap Fabio Borini for Milan's France Under-21 striker Niang. Former Chelsea and Liverpool frontman Borini, 25, capped once by Italy, has made a dim impression at the Stadium of Light this season under struggling boss David Moyes. But Borini's pedigree with Roma in 2011-12 could make him a loan target for Serie A giants AC. Niang, meanwhile, has had loan spells away from the San Siro with Montpellier and Genoa. And a stab at the Premier League would surely be enticing after 64 games in four years with Milan, report
Don't know how I feel about this With Borini we know what we've got. A player who works hard for the team, can pitch in with a goal. Largely someone I'm happy to see on the team sheet or the bench. Not sure how much of an impression this lad has made in Milan, I feel if they rated him, at the age of 21 he'd be more involved in the first team set up. Wouldn't want to make the call on this one.
we cant afford to sell our better players mate, heard Moyes has had a face to face with Short, for more funds, for me **** ffp we need to be in the prem
How many goals in Italy has he scored ? knowing our luck Borini will score 15 - 20 goals for them before the end of the season !
Frustrating, you'd think he'd want to invest say, £30 million, and that ensures we survive, meaning he'll make more money being able to sell premiership club, than a championship, not even including the money you collect from staying up, and X amount from each spot. If he doesn't understand that a small investment now will mean a significant increase in revenue in 6 months, then **** me, how on earth has he gotten this far as a businessman.
Borini has made a dim impression under Moyes? He's been injured FFS. We all know he's a good player but it's hard to get on the end of a long ball when you aren't on the bloody pitch.
I'll take that with a pinch of salt mate, considering Borini has been out injured all season and only featured in 2 games, how can he have made a dim impression? lazy ****ing journals are at out again mate.
Aye I bet when he scored the best goal of the game in the United match Moyes thought "you're **** mate".
So Boroni and his agent way "he'll be at Sunderland until the summer at least" and now we're swapping him for an unknown? As for the "dim impression" Borini has made, he's only been back 3 weeks from an injury in August! Made up bullshit is what I smell
JD is a free agent in the Summer, we will need a striker to bed in before then, with limited funds i can see milage in this one,
All of this is just the greedy f*cking agents spouting sh*te. I would quite happily line all of the c*nts and flamethrower every one of them. And take great delight watching them write in f*cking agony. PS, maybe a tad over the top but am p*ssed off with my footy team.
It wouldn't ensure you survive though. It would help and without it things do look bleak but plenty of teams will spend in January to help ensure certain things and there will be more failures than successes. Think we were above you this time last season and then spent £40-odd million on players and promptly went down. That's football and don't we love it.
I get that it's a risk certainly, but it's something that would surely help towards potential future profits. Just seems daft to me. You could invest £40mil and stay up and then get say £100 mil for staying up. I know there is a risk of going down, but without spending I feel we're doomed to go down.
