Sunderland A.F.C.’s forthcoming Premier League fixture against Manchester United has been selected for live broadcast. The match at the Stadium of Light has been changed from Saturday 8th April to Sunday 9th April, with a 1.30pm kick-off. It's been selected to be televised live, presumably because it'll be an important Europa League decider by then, presumably
Cheers for this..I am the only person in our management at work who is available to cover holidays this weekend for both Saturday and Sunday.. I noted this weeks ago, but thought the date would be changed so have held back to say which date I am only willing to cover. They will have to make arrangements for one of the day shift managers to cover this Sunday because I ain't doing it..
Its local businesses that I feel for when this happens. Pubs and restaurants are much busier for Saturday matches than they are for Sunday matches
As if Sky would give a stuff about little businesses, they only have one aim, make as much money as possible, I hate what TV money has done to football that's why I won't pay for their Sports channels.
You presumed wrong, Quarter Final dates are 13th and 20th of April, so if anything this would hinder us (assuming Rostov don't knock us out). I'd imagine, this is just Sky picking some games to be televised. If you want the money you gotta jump through them hoops.
Hopefully we beat them again just like last year. Just seen the sky fixtures for April ffs let's all suck off the big 6 club's. Funny it was the top 4 years ago. ****ing joke sky is.
I'd loathe to pay £110 a month for my Sky to watch Bournemouth vs Watford or West Brom vs Stoke every Sunday.
Tell you what I find funny about the smaller teams and I don't mean any disrespect here to Everton, but they are. Koeman has said Rooney is welcome back at Everton in an interview today. How many Evertonians would be kicking up a fuss round about now, if Mourinho said Lukaku/Barkley would be more than welcome at Old Trafford? It would seem the small clubs like Everton just get a pat on the head and told to 'run along now', we'd be punished for similar.
I agree Sky has ruined football s a spectator sport by its presence - move matches to silly times and the ££££££ is outrageous. The women manager on the Sky TV stand in Galleries is reluctant to talk to me - I had a massive argument with her about problems Sky has caused in sport esp football. No swearing though - We move on and I bet we have a few rearranged games left (not all Sky fault but I'll blame them if we lose
You took your pent up frustrations about the global conglomerate Sky on a local shop manager Wandy? Way to go mate!
The so called **** matches have been better than the so called big matches. Can't remember s big game being good pal.
