http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/fo...-St-Germain-N-Golo-Kante-transfer-news-gossip The press: oh no Arsenal have signed a similar player so less likely to go for Kante. Who else can we link him with to unsettle him and Leicester!!
Latest rumours are Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Steven N'Zonzi in Danny Drinkwater to Liverpool for £14M
Above anything else, he's a Man U fan surely so would he want to go to any club less than Liverpool regardless of the joke price mentioned
... some daft things being written because the season is finished... most of the rumours stem from wishful thinking from sources / authors with a bias or interest in a particular club ... ... why would Drinkwater swap where he is now for the Liverpool dream' ... a season of domestic football ..we can match salaries ... similarly Vardy to West Ham .- yes they will now be in the Europa ..but it's not the Champions League... ...keeps the fans of those clubs wondering ..but really it's just journalistic farting in a bid to stir the tepid air around their own clubs ...
So can one of you learned chaps explain how this transfer window works please. Can we make pre contract agreements with players as the window doesn't open until June or July? I believe we can sign anyone who is released or unattached at any time. I'm already tired of all the speculation.
If they are unattached you can sign them any time, if their contract is expiring within 6 months then you can make a pre-contract to join when their contract actually expires (contracts usually start and end in a window but can join any time as they are unattached) and if they are in a contract you need to pay a fee to their team to break it and they can join within a transfer window. Examples: We signed Faiq Bolkiah - the Sultan of Brunai's nephew - from Chelsea in March as he was out of contract and we could sign him out of the windows. We are we are going to/have already signed Luis Hernández from Sporting Gijon who's contract is expiring at the end of the season - we got in contact around Jan which was allowed as it was within 6 months. We wanted to sign Ahmed Musa - we bidded up to £19M to break his contract but it wasn't accepted and couldn't get permission from his club to talk to him.
First one in a keeper? Boavsta's Mika https://www.clubcall.com/leicester-city/foxes-first-summer-swoop-is-for-keeper-1811065.html
Shane Long ... £25 m http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/L...ty-challenge/story-29306989-detail/story.html
Young for a keeper at 25 but has first team experience - only in the Portuguese league mind. Dunno anything about him - trust in Claudio I suppose.
I'd like him. If we kept him fit he'd be a great asset. He'd fit into our style of play seamlessly, Albrighton might feel the pressure with his arrival. I reckon the Arsenal training approach must be the main factor for all the injuries they suffer, our two days a week off would probably help. Can't believe he's still only 22.
£25m for a 29 year old worth about £3m in two years time? Doesn't sound like us at all. The Ox would be very welcome
Depends if he can pass a medical. Apparently we are in for Steven N’Zonzi if Kante leaves - is like replacing apples with oranges.
Think this is the right approach given our record with big clubs "rejects". please log in to view this image £25m for Long seems a bit steep seeming that this is the going rate for Vardy as well, was Long even in their starting 11?
We're reportedly back in for Musa. https://leicestercityfc.spontly.com/app/#news/5745643ea62f965b68a54c59 The additional link, which admittedly is in the Express suggests, unsurprisingly he's now quite keen....
Sky Sports- Leicester City have made a bid in the region of £23m for CKSA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa, according to the Russian club. #LCFC
Hoffenheim are reportedly looking to make Kramarić permanent, no fees reported as yet but an offer is prepared.
