Tbf he could have thrown his toys out the pram weeks ago and refused to play etc, have to credit him for doing it right and professionally, unlike Van Dijk and Payet recently.
I genuinely think this is a situation we should let rumble till deadline day - Mahrez will then be willing to move to a wider variety of teams out of desperation and someone will pay the money needed for him
I agree on the basis we don't end up leaving ourselves short. We should get a replacement/competition in anyway which let's face it, we need anyway, and then let it take its course like you say. Leaving it until the last minute and getting more money will mean very little if we have no creativity as a result
You can see why we would have rejected this with Mahrez in the balance and no sign of any replacements. If Mahrez was staying, i'd light up a bidding war for Gray tbh, his cryptic tweets and instagram posts really piss me off.
Their local rag is saying it is bollocks - are better sources then Sky http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sp...d_rumours_understood_to_be_without_substance/
WBA are after Matty James. I dunno how he has been during preseason but during the great escape he was preferred over Drinkwater so I'd say lets keep him and see if has regained that form - not that it is too difficult playing better then Drinkwater atm and Chelsea's interest does seem to be real for some reason. Also it seems like Roma have dropped their interest in Marez and are after someone else now.
Coventry fans reactions are hilarious http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sp...news/what-waste-career-coventry-city-13440994
Rumours are that Milan are after Mahrez - seeing how their new owner has been splashing the cash, if true he will be on his way.
It's Inter Milan who are interested. Do they have a new owner too? I know AC Milan do and have been spending big but not aware of Inter. They don't have European football either do they?
Seems to have gone quiet now, i don't see anything happening unless Mahrez leaves, i think hes the only one we'd replace, others like Musa/Mendy prob won't be replaced if they're sold. To get him out of the premier league, i'd probably take that to be fair.
He reportedly wants to stay in the Premier league though as the family are settled. So assuming that he still wants to play in the Premier league, win trophies & play in the Champions League again, he's an idea Riyad, pull your finger out, make the effort you made in 2015/16 and you will, with us Bit optimistic? ?
We are being linked with Andros Townsend - wouldn't mind him as he is a very good traditional winger but not as a replacement for Mahrez as we need creativity someone with not directness.
