Chelsea have about a hundred players on their books, the vast majority of which will never see the light of day in a Chelsea shirt!
I posted something on this earlier - he was offered professional terms, but turned the offer down - "The striker was one of nine City scholars offered professional terms at the end of last season but it appears the youngster will be heading elsewhere this summer. City would be entitled to compensation, and a percentage of any future transfer fee, if Ashley-Seal rejects a professional contract offered by Norwich." Please God, don't let this be true... http://readnorwich.com/2017/07/20/norwich-interested-in-re-signing-snodgrass/
He has been offered a contract which he has not signed. That is failing to see potential in him? If you are going to lambast the club over something, at least be factually accurate.
JM posted the article after I posted that. Although we don't know what kind of contract he was offered.
Basil confirming he's happy at CR and is very impressed with DF - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...culation-on-his-norwich-city-future-1-5115311
This is why we shouldn't sell Jerome. http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...and-here-are-the-stats-to-prove-why-1-5115749
Selling him would be poor business imo - I know he has his detractors on here and has goofed some good chances but his record is pretty impressive nonetheless, he works his ass off for the team, rarely gets injured and hardly ever gets booked let alone sent off. It would be folly to sell him unless we have a younger clone of him lined up from the second tier of the Bundesliga.
A new signing for the academy, 16 year old Icelandic midfielder Ísak Snær Þorvaldsson. That's definitely one to test Canary Call!
A bit more on our new academy signing, as well as a second academy signing just announced: Norwich City have signed two international players as first-year scholars to the Academy. Icelandic U16 international Isak Thorvaldsson has joined from Afturelding, while Republic of Ireland U17 international Adam Idah has joined from College Corinthians. “Thorvaldsson is a box-to-box midfielder, with a good goalscoring record,” says Gregg Broughton, City’s Head of Academy Recruitment. “He has been selected on a regular basis for Iceland at U16 and U17 level, and will represent his country at the Nordic Cup in August. “Idah is a centre-forward and was a regular playing up a year for Ireland U17s last season, scoring eight goals in 10 games. He was identified as one of the players of the tournament in the UEFA U17 Finals in May, when Ireland were knocked out by England in the quarter-finals.”
I am fairly certain the rules say that any club can only have one "Dave" on its books at any one time.
