Good to see Col_Who getting into the Deutsche spirit.
NCFC have a German coach, 3 players signed from German clubs (with rumours of more to follow)
Mikey, meanwhile, bless her, supports ostensibly the 'wurst' club in the football league.

That's not great news at all - really bad luck for both of them and the club.

It will deter potential suitors for both hopefully - that's the only positive spin I can put on this.

 

They certainly will not be passing a transfer medical in August.

That injury situation is better than I expected to be honest. Seeing Pritchard leave on a stretcher made me think he'd be lost until Christmas. Particularly if we sign a new CB, Klose's absence can be covered temporarily.

 

I guess we should be kind of grateful that Jacob didn't feature in that "friendly" vs Cambridge.

 

Speaking of Jacob, I didn't realise until I read the BBC article about his proposed transfer that we'd loaned him to 6 different clubs!

 

I remember him blotting his copy book at Blackpool with an unwise joke about the team! <oops>

 

I'll be very impressed if anyone can name all 6 - without sneaking a peek at the aforementioned article. I certainly can't!

That's easy for you to say!

 

When I heard knee and off on a stretcher, I immediately assumed cruciate ligament and not back for 7-9 months.

So agreed that in the circumstances it sounds better!

I think, assuming we are relatively injury lucky until October or so, this might be manageable because these two coming into the squad will give us a timely boost during our nemesis period (October-December for as many seasons as I can remember now...)
