I should complain more often the 1st time i said things was not happening we sign Will h (i think he could be the deal of the season) then i said today we need a partner for Troy plus wide players with pace .then within 20 mins BANG
The good news is he is supposed to be match fit. The wait and see news is we haven't see him play yet.
I doubt he has trained with the team due to insurance. But he has been at the training ground and he was at the match last Saturday - huge huge feet apparently!
He has pace like iggy and can hit the back of the net (but he is only a kid and will still learn ) and Troy will be a great teacher for him
Lets hope he can have a Heidar Helguson type debut against Liverpool as the Iceman did in 2000. Or just be our 2nd best Brazilian behind Gomes.. Only young though so will be raw and has to be given time...
Sorry to say some fans will not give him time .If he does not hit the back of the net in 3 games they will start to get on his back for this and that . We only have to look at how they treat Mr Watford (Troy) he could of tied to get away we all know a few clubs have been after him. And he has always said if Watford got a bid that they wanted to take then he would go until then he wants to stay
Nice to see this striker in the onion bag with his work visa, finally! I think this transfer window has been very hard for Watford with $$ and wage demands, that might have made them stop a few deals they were sniffing around. One or two more decent players soon, is maybe too much to ask... The young lad will need time, and as others have said above, he might not get that. Still we have choices up top now...one more than before and one with a bit of Brazilian zippppp...
Nice to get this one done, and the work permit approved! I think there are a few glaring spaces in the first team but seems Silva knows what he needs. Transfers seem just that much harder now - you probably have a few more teams around the size of Watford (like Burnley, Bournemouth, Brighton - and possibly even the likes of Palace) all competing for similar players, plus with the new TV deal, teams are just demanding so much more money for players now - which makes the Chalobah and Hughes deals all that better! We still need to offload some players, be it on loan or sold! Could probably get rid of 2/3 CBs and a couple of CMs
According to the Wobbly our new signing has been training with the squad for the past week, and could be on display this Saturday.
A though, pinched from somewhere. With Richarlison getting a visa comparatively easily, are there grounds for an appeal for Adalberto PeƱaranda? Richarlison only outscores PeƱaranda on transfer fee, and perhaps salary; but he is Brazilian.
A piece that talks about our new signing. I don't think that all those who have left a comment like Watford. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...million-five-year-deal?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other
I especially liked this one: locustwalk 17h ago He gets to fulfill every Brazilian youngster's dream of partnering Troy Deeney. Inspirational stuff.
