The eight are Lallana, Lovren, Lambert, Shaw, Chambers, Osvaldo, Guly and Fox. I fully admit to stretching the point there but even if you discount the last 3 (Fox is kinda going too far) we're about equal on squad numbers and certainly nowhere close to the level of selling one player to buy three, which is what Fran was talking about. If we sign 2 or 3 more players that equation will change. As yet we haven't though.

Seen on another forum that quite a few Utd fans are saying they have had a £20m bid for Schneiderlin turned down. Not sure where they have got this from?
One for the future more, but I wouldn't mind a sneaky bid for Nick Powell at United. I've always likes him and I think he's still only 20/21. At the right club, he could become something special. May not be what we need right now, but always good to pick up a bargain.
