Anybody out there got a son/daughter in last year/assignment meltdown. Talk about having to walk on eggshells with me tin helmet on. Any advice apart from drinking heavily..
My daughter's just done 1st year exams at uni! ( Leicester) and she got a bit snappy towards the end all better now while next year?
My lads studying for his Chartered Accountants qualification. Give them space and don't ask too many questions is my advice.
Daughter starts European BAC exams next Tuesday, lots of weeping and wailing round the house. Keep 'em supplied with food and then drink heavily.
mines just finished his 1st year in law so got all that to come. fortunately he lives with his mother most of the time when he's home, so maybe i'll be lucky. having said that, its always me who gets the drunken 3.30am phone calls saying he can't get a taxi home from piper or welly. first response is always "well walk then, i used to", but then you think its all different these days and daren't risk it, so end up saying "i'll be 20 minutes, but this is that last time" !
yeah love the old cant get a cab routine. You would think someone would come up with a pre. Booking system..
I am just finishing up marking undergraduate work... spare a thought for us too! (...stands back and waits for the abuse from Happy Tiger)
It doesn't close as such Spook, the library and pretty much all the facilities are open. Please do PM me if you have specific reason for asking!
Well yes. How else can you explain pass rates rising? It couldn't possibly be the quality of teaching and application by students having gone up.
My wife's an academic, assesses under- and post-graduate work, if she read this board (she doesn't) your bollocks'd be in orbit by now.
