We are in the market for one and everyone knows that we love a striker up here!

Linked with so many I couldn't fit more names on but feel free to add any you think are realistic below.

Poll to see who you'd want - given you two choices 1 who you want and 2 who you think we'll get/backup choice.

Personally I want to keep Mitro but think he'll be gone to make way for someone else although for e.g. if we loan Batshuayi could we not loan out Mitro same time?

Rafas after wingers like there's no tomorrow, Dost would be an excellent signing as a classic no.9.
I picked Carroll even though you,d only get 15 games a season out of him and its the first transfer window in a while we haven,t been linked to him

Whoever we go for - I hope we get a taller, target man type (I know we already sort of have this in Mitro, but Rafa clearly doesn't want/rate him)

Need to have an option for the times when a Gayle/Perez type isn't working

We will never get Dost at the price they are asking. Batshuayi is so tantalising because it would be on loan so within our grasp, and also leaves funds to make signings elsewhere. King seems more our level at the moment.

I know he didn't really work out for Leicester, but was quite impressed with Slimani the couple of times I saw him live playing for Sporting Lisbon.

Good shot and strikers instinct and worked hard for the team - not frightened to rough up the defenders a bit either

If Leicester get Iheanacho from Man City, then I can see them letting him go for less than they paid

Mate i think you're guilty of putting us on a pedestal we just don't belong on! We'll be quite fortunate to sign any of them to be honest. I'm expecting something like Merino, a bit of a bolt from the blue. I'd say it's hugely unlikely we'll sign from that list, as we'll be used as bait by any agent trying to tout their player and most of that list would like to be bought.

Sorry no pedestal. Just we have all seen how crap most of these are! Would rather keep Mitro or buy someone left field then any of those mentioned other than the two I already said.

Slimani - couldn't get into the Leicester team even when they were doing ****e.
Josh King - would be ok but is he just a one season wonder?
Andre Gray - **** and a ****er to boot
Andy Carroll - ok at about £7M as he would only play the 10 games Gayle is out.
Loic Remy - no, no and no! Tosser!
Sakho - ok but inconsistent and injury prone
    Niasse - absolute ****e player.

I hear that Huddersfield are willing to listen to offers for Nakhi Wells - interesting!

Think we're after batshuayi and will have to settle for Remy, which I can live with

Getting excited for the season now, loved Rafa's interview last night. Confirmed what I'd hoped, he was pissed off, had a word with charnley, got Carr sacked, picked his new man and now he's happy

Got to agree with that other than Batshuayi the rest aren't really worth it.

For me I like Mitro and would want to keep him, if we were to get another striker in I'd want some one a bit left field like Vincent Aboubacar who we were linked with a few months ago.

The mitro one is a puzzler... Can't hit a barn door at times and should of ripped up the Championship but he did not, but for some reason I like the twat and think there is a player in there somewhere.

The only way Mitro is ever going to have a decent striker inside him is if he cuts one up, cooks him and eats him.

Chelsea won't sell batsh*t they don't have enough cover. Otherwise I would take him in a heartbeat. He's a really good striker. Bas Dost also but he NEEDS service so you would have told get that right. Neither will happen.

Well, based on 1st half performance today we definitely need one.

Mitro's been awful so far - no anticipation or strikers brain.

Mitro has proven this over two seasons...

It's ok - apparently Riviere has rejected Metz so we'll still have him.
