TBH, I thought they played well, they were definitely getting well into the game when the ref tried his hardest to spoil it. It was the first time for a long time that I've seen some fight out of them away from home.
Well that was interesting. Looking good until a ridiculous red card and then countless yellows. At half time I didn't know which would be the higher number, the number of Stoke goals or City players left on the pitch. Great second half which showed some of that old fight and so to get a point was fantastic. However we slip nearer the bottom three and now have a half a new back 4 against Everton. Certainly hope the club appeal Vardy's red as there must be a good chance of getting it overturned.
Signs of improvement in the last week definitely. Tuesday was disappointing but Bournemouth is not an easy trip and on a Tuesday night as well. We'd have taken 4 points from these last 3 games beforehand. Also we drew all 3 fixtures last year so 4 points is a better points return. Hopefully today can be the catalyst. A result like that could be more beneficial long term than a hammering of Man City
Fabulous fighting performance.. that Twat Pawson might just, inadvertently, have helped us rekindle our now legendary spirit ...
Anyone else think Allen was offside for the second? Also the free kick for that goal what a soft booking for Albrighton
