Thought I'd get a thread going for tomorrow night's match against Stoke at Anfield. I'm interested to know your thoughts on the formation/team sheet, goal scorers, results etc.

I personally expect us to line up as usual, with Suarez straight in for Torres, although N'gog may be favoured with Suarez coming on later once the game has settled.

I fancy us for a 1-0 or 2-1. I expect it to be a close one with Stoke applying pressure from set pieces, but I think we can edge it.

Wouldn't mind seeing Ngog play again to be honest - if he does play he must know it'll be one of his only chances of playing up front regularly. If he can impress in the weeks coming to Carroll regaining fitness we could implement a 4-3-3.

I expect a 2-0 win, both goals coming in the second half. Stoke will be extremely defensive, will try to break on the rebound and try to get corners and throw ins which will be our biggest threat. I do feel we'll dominate the first half well though but only have a few chances on goal, with Stoke also missing some good opportunities and in the second half Stoke will come out and begin to pile the pressure on but leave themselves open - we will then grab a goal, towards the end of the match when Stoke are getting tired we will grab another goal through sloppy defending.

last time we beat them would be the 4-0 at Anfield last season..? I hope we can repeat that, but with the way the league is going this year, I highly doubt it.

I'm actually feeling a bit more optimistic than I was yesterday so I'm gonna say 5-1 (suarez 3, Gerrard, Kuyt, Konchesky OG all the way from Forest)
