Here's why I'll tell you an over-reaction is not out of place. If our next games were against Southampton, West Ham, and Norwich, it would be not that bad, I'd still be pissed at our start, but the next games are games we can improve on and get back on track. However so, just look at our next games: Liverpool away, Southampton home, Mancity away, Chelsea home. Those are very very very tough games, so it was all the more important to get 2 good results from our first 2 games, which we have not, making things all the more harder for us, and raising the pressure. If we get bad results against Pool and City, we will find ourselves in a position just as bad as last season. Our team is still gelling with each other, but you don't want a new team playing against the likes of Liverpool at Anfield, Mancity at Etihad, and then Chelsea at home, no sane man would ever want a new team facing the likes of them. So right now we're in a very tricky situation. Having said that, City just scored. We have our work cut out for us BIG TIME over the next month.
Laugh At Liverpool. I'm banned on bothe their Not606 board and Ja606 board. Oh and Kyle? Let's just agree to disagree
I haven't said a bad word about the defence today, they all did good, even Mannone did good when called upon, his ball distribution was very good as well. Arteta looked excellent as well, I think we can say he's our Gilberto Silva.
I include them just to put them in the list of fixtures we have, lest anyone get confused and think we play Pool City and Chelsea one after another, Southampton should be a winnable game for us, they're the only 'comfortable' fixture in our next 4 games. We face the champions City, we face another title challenger in Chelsea, and Liverpool, a possible top 4-6 team, that isn't going to be fun in the least.
Arteta looks as if he may be able to play the DM role, is it worth signing a more adventurous player like Dembele instead of a DM?
Where is your ST seat Arsenal87? because next time I'm at Emirates I want to chuck rotten tomatoes at you
