    Note how poor the pitch is compared to modern pitches, and ours was one of the better ones. The old Baseball ground at Derby used to have so much sand on it by October it was like watching beach football there.

    Yes a great game. We were down 1-0 after the first leg, went on to beat Zurich 6-1 [Case scored 2] ... and went on to win the EC for the 1st time... happy days

    i wasn't there as i was in enforced exile in the south . Still remember it vividly though just from listening on Radio 2. Absolutely brilliant atmosphere which still came over even on a crappy transistor.
    Was funny in later homes games to hear the "Allez Allez Livpool" chants .
