    Considering we can't be relegated any more this season, the best thing to do is wait for the right deal. Even without a new striker though I reckon we will be top 10 or 12 at worst.

    without the threat of relagation we might do better than what we think ,we have no cup games to distract us so i hope bruce tells the players to go for it we havent got anthing to loss

    Well that sounds final, the problem being unless it was a loan we could get stuck with someone we did not want, it took yonks to get rid of Murph and Healy.

    The point made by others above i.e. should we have sold Bent without a replacement? and did we get enough moolah for him, if carol is £35m?

    I am starting to wonder the same thing - not sure why we needed to sell Judas so fast - we should have held out for the highest bidder - easy in hindsight I guess

    I agree - the two new players are class - onwards and upwards. Hope we dont rue not getting extra cover for Gyan though - I guess it is only for 5 games.
