Great news. Start at the bottom and learn from those around him. Work with the youngsters and be an inspiration to those around him that if you have the talent and combine with the attitude you can make it.

Can only be good thing for 15/16 year old scousers to go into training and have gerrrard there.

    Yes.

Be someone the players will look up to and hopefully give that little extra to impress. and hopefully will help to sign players.

Need Gerrard and Kenny around the club.

Yep, Gerrard is the right choice for the role, hopefully he'll gain promotion at the club as he progresses.

What I like most is he gave up a management offer earlier in the season to work with the kids.
    Liverpool over management.

This is not a good idea. Let him get some experience at a lower level than our academy and let him work his way up before letting him loose on any of our players. He's got absolutely zero coaching/training experience.

Still, at least we haven't just stuck him in to manage our first team thinking he will make us world beaters like some other team did with one of their 'legends' who couldtn't keep away like some insatiable paedo not so long ago

Great news, starting at the right level, the kids will be chuffed to bits to have him as their coach.

    Really pleased for the club.

    Welcome home.

He has also not shagged any of his close relatives wives as far as we know. Which is also a good thing.
