As far as I'm aware only two clubs operate completely in the black and that's Arsenal and I think the other one is a strange one like Scunthorpe.

Yes there are numerous poorly ran clubs. But a point you steer past is there are few clubs that have ran as far past (100% and much more) income as BCFC did are there? Bristol City financial performance put the club amongst the exceptionally poor. Bristol City have lost money for fifteen seasons, right or wrong?

You are arguing that Bristol City is going to be sustainable despite the above but cannot explain how Mr Lansdown will pay off debts. You then imply/infer that it is ok to lose ****loads of money anyway with tenuous points that if Bristol City had not have madly overspent the club would not have been competitive, and will not be in future if they do not.

A evidence based opinion is this. Mr Lansdown being as rich as he is does not care if Bristol City is sustainable, Bristol Coty wont be. The sums he puts in v his wealth are easily sustainable to him. Some would call these sums peanuts. In turn he has taken total control of everything, owns everything (you appeared to be unware of massive shareholdings/group structure) with zero accountability leading to poor decision after poor decision.

Bristol City is a toy. Mr Lansdown put his Son in charge at one point to run the toy, and now has a family friend as a Manager.

I do not have an agenda. The above is a realisation.

Its many more than two. And many clubs have cash revenues. Many clubs own their ground and associated assets. And many clubs have future earnings (TV income, parachute payments, sponsorship and commercialisation). They do make money and get sold for more.

Clubs in the Premiership also have geopolitical roles. The biggest clubs are owned/sponsored by the Middle East and backed by state funds via , Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Qatar ...

Not going to continue this because it's wasting your time and mine, but at no point did I dispute that City have lost money year on year (hence the right or wrong bit is baffling, as if you're trying to catch me out for something I haven't said), and at no point have I said that it's okay to lose ****loads of money, I'm merely pointing out the 'market' that we're in.

Sorry but that is what you have said = If Mr Lansdown wants to throw money at it let him. Its his loss.

Football does not operate like a simple market. If it did Bristol City and others with the capital spent would not have dwelled so much time in lower divisions.

Your posts state something very similar. "If he wants to throw money at it then let him" that is no condemnation of "overspending massively at the moment".

If it was a market, Bristol City with Mr Lansdowns capital should not have dwelled in a lower diviosion for so long.
