There is a petition at http://www.fsf.org.uk/campaigns/safestanding.php
asking for as many people as is possible to sign saying that we would like to see standing at football allowed once again.

I know that this is a mute point for many of us and feel that it is worth adding our five pennyworth.

I have no problem with an area set aside for standing but don't want it brought back generally, because unless you're Peter Crouch you miss parts of the game.

Yes, everybody seems to have grown 6 inches taller in the last fee years. Personally, I prefer to sit.

If you are sat, the atmosphere is poor, why they bother asking the northam to sit is beyond me.

Reading the article in the link it is a bit ambiguous as to what is and what isn't allowed. It says European football matches which can be taken two ways.

I take it that it means inter country competitions such as the Champions League and the Europa Cup.
