That's where me and my 30 ex- squaddie mates are finishing off the night on our reunion. Could be interesting.
It's a cool place actually There's a pub in the high street that has great music ...Elephants Head (just had to check on't web cos I could only remember something about a big animal!) And to be honest I like the Spoons by the lock (Ice Wharf I think without resorting to search engines) ...or go for the several pounds of dope by the canal option to fit in with the locals
Wethers. Fact is mate we're all mid 40's and like to be able to sit down if possible. An open fire would be nice, weather dependent. Nothing too loud either. We do have the odd beserker attending but I'd expect them to be either locked up or in a Bermondsey crack den with a couple of prossie's by 21.30 hours. Hopefully anyway.
I'd recommend giving the browns a miss. There's only a couple of (nasty) pubs left on the Old Kent Road, and Whitechapel Road is a Bangladeshi area so not great for drinking either. Start at Marylebone.
maybe this could be motivation http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4527608/Donald-Trump-Kim-Jong-drive-TANK-Blackpool.html
It was nowhere near as bad as made out, the apartment was on Wandsworth road so not far from Westminster. Had a few beers in Tattershall Castle (can take the lads out of Hull...) on the Friday, which handily turns into a nightclub at 11pm. Then on the Saturday did the Monopoly board. It was bloody hot too, but managed to sink 18 pints of lager on the Saturday before it got silly and I started drinking champagne and spirits. A good time had by all.
