Do the 35+ brigade remember Going for Gold, presented by Henry Kelly?

It was a European wide competition that if you lost first time round you got to come back and try again a couple more times.

Do Spurs now get to enter the Intertoto Cup? They'd have a chance if they got to play a team called Lady.

You posted that in the style of Saints08 as you forgot the HIAG overuse of commas.

  3. I said very much the same thing, quite recently, on the Spurs board.

Poch needs to concentrate of increasing squad depth. I have faith in him that he will achieve this aim.

Again, recently on the Spurs board, I offered my opinion that Jansen is proving to be another Soldado, and that my fear is that he will never replicated his previous goal-scoring abilities in the Prem.

I agree with you, that we need to find another striker.

The old HIAG had his admirers and his detractors, as we all do, and as the new HIAG will have.

  4. The hardest prey to hunt is the one that never stops moving, Bobby; and the most dangerous predator is the one you never see coming.

I say that, but I am not playing games with Pixie, of course.

I have turned a corner. I hope that posters can both see and feel that I have.

If United get Gent in the next round, do we get to play them at Wembley?

  11. I do not believe so, Stan.

I am not aware that I have quoted anyone. However, I will not attempt to claim that the sentiments or imagery encapsulated in my previous posting have never been expressed before, by minds greater than my own.

  12. Why would you want to do that, Stan?

Given the choice, I think most Spurs fans would have preferred that we played the game on our own turf.

Come on mate, your whole persona is based on him. You can't tell me you haven't studied his works, you basically plagiarise him on here every day.

  18. I do not know of this Barry Chuckle.

Is he any good? You seem to admire him, Pix.

It is important for all of us that we have our literary heroes. I count the likes of Shakespeare, Tennyson, and Neitzsche among mine.

I can see that you now appreciate the short, sharp shock that I had to administer to you by way of a ban.
I know at the time you were thrashing around like an angry Toddler, but I see now that you understand that it was what you needed in order to reflect and change.

There is no need to apologise to me mate, I am happy just knowing that you now understand that I was doing you a favour <peacedove>

He's a fictional halfwit that makes himself look like a tit so that others can laugh at him,
I guess it must have just been a coincidence that it looked like you modelled yourself on him.
