The thing is, many of these would work in the stadium. I have no idea how you'd get it started, but I'd love to hear some of Audrey's efforts ringing around White Hart Lane.
If points were awarded for style Rob, audrey would win it every year. I seriously think he should gather them together in a book and publish them.
Unless Audrey didn't actually write this one. The song Vienna was written by Ultravox, and there is no Tom Norris in there. So, did Tom/Michael from the Paxton Lane actually write this one? Or is the Tom Norris reference a joke that went over my head?
No SD, I write all my own stuff - I wouldn't want you to hold anyone else responsible! So it was neither Michael Flatley, nor Tom Paxton......... I can tell you where I got the name of Tom Norris from, though: from MetroLyrics website:- "We walked in the cold air - etcetcetc………….. The image is gone only you and I This means nothing to me This means nothing to me Oh Vienna - This means nothing to me This means nothing to me Oh Vienna. Songwriters TOM NORRIS" Maybe I should have checked with Wikipedia? I use MetroLyrics a lot. Oh dear! By the way, it's Lamela we call Michael Flatley. I didn't invent that one, so I'm allowed to say I think it's very witty and apt - makes me grin even now I write it! As for the other suggestions - I'd be immensely proud if somehow Spurs fans picked up the refrain of one of my efforts and sang it at WHL. I've often dreamed of that (I'm still quite sad that no-one picked up my version of Hallelujah [> Hallo Luka!]). And I have thought of trying to put some of these into some kind of publication, but haven't got round to doing anything more about that. Audrey's Greatest Hits? maybe? And finally, I really appreciate all the comments, gentlemen! COYS!
