    Yeah for real...

Saying that I'm on about my 8th rerun over the years and the Omar killing has become perfect, although I agree it hit me hard to start with (same with Stringer tbh). Omar's killing has grown on me massively - It's done to purely show the full cycle of the ghetto. The young guns coming through breaking rank.

Almost the beauty of the show, they will kill anyone off no matter, all in the game yo.

Seriously good show, one I'll probably watch for many years to come.

Love Bunk, guy's a legend. Bubbles, Omar, Stringer, Bodie... too many to mention. Love you all and thanks #OscarSpeech

Don't forget Lester, Lester Freeman, yes sir!

    Epic...great recommendation Sky.

    Exactly Omar don't scare.

When you get chance check the stories of the cast. Incredible to think it's a mixture of convicted murderers, rappers, and actors.

Micheal Kenneth Williams (Omar) has a really interesting story, ex crack head, now works for Vice. But has also been in The Soprano's and Broadwalk Empire etc. Love that ****.

BTW there's a spin off mini HBO series called 'The Corner'

Lester Freeman plays an addict in it. Plus lots of other characters from the Wire are in it. Only a 6 part thing, very good though.

I think I told you about that way back, it's very good and they show the real people at the end.

    Stick ticking over, a bit.

Went last night, half hour run then 15 minutes row. Bit of chest, bit of core.

Played squash Monday. I plan on my first outdoor run of the spring after work. It will probably also be my last!!

If you want to talk TV, go elsewhere.

This thread is for meatheads smashing the **** out of it in the gym.

I've got an injury, again, which is debilitating, feels like a torn hamstring but physio says it's a glute injury, so basically no legs for me atm.

Shame as I always warm up with legs no matter what I'm doing, to release the test.

Back and shoulders this morning, which was basically upper back because of my injury.

I'm about 50% less hungry as well when I can't use my legs, the post-gym starve doesn't come, no matter how hard I'm working back/arms.

    Yeah, tell me about it.

I've still got this lingering niggle behind my right knee. Sprained my ankle pretty badly a few months back and that still affects me playing squash, it feels like my achilles is about to pop at any second. Had shin splints in that leg last night trying to run and I've also now got tennis elbow in my right arm.

    Cracking.

I'm still suffering the after effects of sciatica. My left ankle is constantly sore. I need to get back on the treadmill but am worried that it will **** the nerve up. That isn't a pain I want to experience again!

I've got a ****ed ankle from playing football a couple of years ago.

Ligament damage and it flaires up and my toes twitch and bend and the ball swells up.

Why I do loads of power walking and swimming only as my cardio which doesn't effect it too badly.

I went from playing 5-6 a side twice a week to having played once in two years.

Should have had surgery on it I suspect.

    Why your last? The weather?

I went to the gym last night and did shoudlers, back and legs and blasted 20 mins on the bike.

Then power walked 6 miles with my mate.

    More than enough!

Did 7 mile power walk Monday.

Day off for me today I think before my legs seize.

I ****ed my left ankle and knee playing football. I've always been **** at doing the physio which hasn't helped long term.

I've just never got the bug. I want to be able to but I find it a bit boring and it hasn't gripped me like it clearly does other people.

Plus I've got all sorts of things in my knees, ankle and shins that I give in to too easily.

Motivation is my killer.....still....but trying...still not in that happy place where jogging is no issue.

i know a few lads who have had keyhole surgery on bad knees...they don't recommend it...it didn't enhance or prolong the footy for them.

I've had a few now, they seem to come one after the other.

Rotator cuff was the worst, stopped me in my tracks for a good 6 months and it all went to ****.

That's why I don't use collars on my barbells any more, I did most of the damage lifting the bar back up to the rack because I couldn't slide the plates off.
