What i said? No cescy no Cahill yes party. Called it 0-2 but got only 1-2. Will take it. Could have been 2-4
Lets not kid ourselves. Hugo's was worse mistake than Batters. But again - Simpson & Albrigton play like Messi when Kante is with them & Cescy / Cahill are not in the 11. Common sense or an Axiom? Don't go with Cahill & Cescy. Get 3 points. Its that fcuking simple.
I think today confirmed beyond a shadow of a doubt that you're much better at the back without Cahill. Can't remember which poster has been banging on about it for 2 years now but whoever you are - I think you're right. His suspension was a blessing in disguise.
I thought christensen and Rudiger did pretty well. Rudiger was a bit up and down initially. Got turned for Kanes first 1 on 1. Likewise Christensen did well, we were a bit ragged for a bit and he made a mistake for Allis first chance but they all did quite well
deffo how long they both out for? 1 game and 3 games? No doubt conte will put cahill back in when he's back.
Christensen & Rudiger will be alright as long as we have Kante & Luiz protecting them in the middle. But that may not continue. But I sincerely hope it continues.
Cahill alone back is not too bad TBH. Cescy is back next week. I am already worried. Cescy, Cahill are Worse. Cescy, Cahill & Alonso are the WORST possible start. We can give 3 points to the opposition if these 3 start together.
If Conte goes 3-5-2 like today, there is a place for Cesc and his passing. If he goes 3-4-3 no to Cescy. as for Cahill i would just like him not to start. Its a shame as he's a great servant but he's not the standard that we are looking for
Interesting how you guys really don't rate Cahill. I hadn't noticed until today. Maybe England would also be better off without him?
Ditto!! He has been a great servant, just like Mikel. I agree with that. But he is average at best. No way Captain of this great team. That is ridiculous. Hope we don't get undone once CL is back. Hope Cahill is shown his rightful place by Conte & Co.
He provides some leadership and he does put his body on the line. He comes up with some great goals. Against the best he's pretty poor as good strikers/wingers get the better off him. Against the crap teams (and the good ones) he has a nose bleed everytime he gets the ball. He's much better in a 4 but in a back 3 where he's expected to provide some creativity/distribution he massively fails. We could probably try him in the middile of a back 3 but this lcb role he is totally unsuited, especially when we have Alonso as well who cannot handle a tricky winger
